Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- Ham
- 1x onion
- Cheese (any, but richer flavour is better, grated)
- Shortcrust pastry, storebought
- 150-200mL cream
- Basil to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180C
- Chop your basil, dice your onion and your ham
- Crack and beat the eggs, mixing in the cream
- Combine the eggs, the cream, the basil, ham, onion, and cheese in a bowl.
- Seperate your sheet of shortcrust pastry and line the tin with it.
- Salt and pepper the batter, then pour into the tin, spreading well.
- Top it off with cheese and bake in the oven at 180C for approx. 45 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through
